i mean... the language is beautiful. the flow is both jarring and liquid like the wounds and fluids you describe. but it is a relentless assault. there are writers whose work you know you can never emulate and You are one of those. your mind is working in a special way and its in its own dimension just like that pomegranate eating witch.
i.confess to a fascination with pomegranates from my earliest childhood days from the first time i came across one as a small child on a steam train + donkey cart trip to a beach in Portugal when there were pomegranates bursting ripely on a tree and i picked the jewels out of it in silent wonder all the way to the beach. then i stood on a very nasty jellyfish. the memory of that intricate fruit is crystal clear 50+ years later
That's a lovely pomegranate story, beyond the icky jellyfish. My late grandfather had a massive pomegranate tree, each one slightly larger than a human heart. It was amazing. It looked as big as an oak tree. But they're so messy and sticky, I think visually it reminded me how messy they can be, and in the realm of the story, her taking a life is also messy.
Well the dystopian scifi is definitely going to be a trigger warning then, I would avoid it all costs when I publish my little short novella. Thank you for the high compliment. I do strive make worlds something that people can feel, and a range of emotions. Life is emotional.
please dont take my comment as a criticism. your writing has power it wont be to everyone's taste but its brilliant don't go changing or worry about your audience's sensibilities. im sure all your followers and subs do so precisely because of the oooph factor 🫣🫣😵👌
aaaaaand. exhale.... now i need a shower.
I'll try to put up trigger warnings for my more gruesome pieces. This was definitely one of them.
you don't say? 🤔

Vivid detail!
Thank you very much
Wow, I had a visceral reaction to some of that. Dark and impressive.
Thank you very much Will! When I finish my scifi dystopian horror it will be along the same lines.
Nice, I'll keep an eye out for that then :)
I loved the prompts. I still have the last batch bagged up in my desk drawer.
They'll get better. Wonder if we should host an event of prompts with other like writers. I can draw words from a silly hat in video.
This is why I got off tinder.
You never know when you'll run into a flesh eating witch from another dimension 😞
I mean, they need love too, but that’s a level of commitment I’m not comfortable with.
